This will be a great position for someone that wants to make a change in Children and Young Person's lives.A genuinely rewarding Permanent Part-Time or Casual role, with most time spent in the house or participating in recreational activities. You will be working directly with children and young people; the positions are based in a 24/7 Residential Setting with fortnightly rotating shift rosters.Key Responsibilities Provide day to day care, supervision and transport to children and young peopleActively participate in activities and increase competencies of young peopleForm and maintain professional, nurturing relationshipsDevelop, implement and monitor individual plansActively support the child/young person to develop and maintain social skillsMaintenance of progress notes and report writingSkills & Experience Certificate 4 in Community Services, Youth Work, Mental Health, or similar.A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to complete prior to commencementAbility to work various shifts (sleepover & active nights) throughout the weekPrior knowledge and/or experience working with young people, people with a disability and/or vulnerable personsSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Vulnerable People check.
