At the NFSA, we prioritise the development of a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.About the TeamOur Workforce and Culture (W&C) Team is a critical part of the NFSA’s transformation, delivering all elements of Human Resources and managing NFSA’s workforce.The OpportunityThe WHS Advisor is responsible for researching, planning and developing policy, procedures, and guidelines to implement initiatives across work health and wellbeing issues.Key Responsibilities/DutiesAssisting and supporting the Manager Operations to develop and implement contemporary work health and safety strategies.Undertaking research and preparing documentation in relation to work health and safety matters.Preparing and maintaining appropriate records and data management and assisting in the development of reports.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on relevant WHS matters.Carrying out administrative tasks including coordinating meetings and WHS training.Supporting with WHS risk assessments and audits.Accurately inputting, updating, and analyzing data and WHS records.Promoting WHS, equity, and diversity in the workplace.Selection CriteriaDemonstrated experience in WHS administration services and advisory duties.Experience in researching matters, interpreting legislation, and report writing.Ability to engage with stakeholders and strong communication skills.Experience with HRIMS or database management programs.Desired Skills and ExperienceA WHS related qualification such as Certificate IV Work Health Safety is desirable.EligibilityBe an Australian Citizen.Satisfactorily complete an Australian Federal Police National Police Check.What we offer youGreat training and development opportunities.Generous leave and flexible working arrangements.A competitive salary, plus 15.4% superannuation.Contact OfficerCeinwyn Whittaker | Manager Operations, Workforce and CultureE: ceinwyn.whittaker@nfsa.gov.au Ph: 02 6248 2255
