What's the Role: Reporting directly to the General Manager of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for Bradken's global foundry and fabrication sites.
This role directly influences workforce skills, safety protocols, productivity levels, and the ongoing development of a continuous learning culture.
You will also be tasked with developing and implementing effective competency assessment strategies.
You will collaborate with Site Managers, HSE, and Safety BPs to oversee Training Needs Assessments (TNAs) globally, leveraging industry expertise to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and implementation of best practices.
You will accurately identify training needs through collaborative assessments and design targeted programs emphasising safety, technical skills, and regulatory compliance relevant to Bradken's global operations.
You will deliver effective training using various methods, including instructor-led, e-learning, OJT, and mentoring.
You will maintain accurate training records and develop engaging, up-to-date training resources tailored to local contexts.
You will assess training effectiveness through evaluations and performance data.
You will utilise learning management systems and explore new training technologies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Technical Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing Technology) Certifications in areas such as Certified Professional in Training and Development (CPTD) Experience in a training and development role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with developing safety training programs and regulations.
The role is based in Brisbane.
