Test Analyst (APS3), Product Ownership and Assurance SectionSalary: $67,139 - $75,682 (plus 15.4% superannuation and allowances)Permanent position; full-time or part-time (flexible working arrangements)The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is looking to fill the role of Test Analyst (APS3) in the Product Ownership and Assurance Section, Data Sourcing Division. Test analysts work in partnership with other ABS teams to ensure that ABS surveys effectively and securely collect data.About the roleThis is a technical role. As an APS3, under general guidance and as a member of a team, your duties may include:Undertake systems and process testing to meet program needs within tight deadlines;Raise and triage defects, following defined escalation procedures;Support other business testers by creating test records, executing test scripts, and contributing to knowledge and training documentation;Engage with business testing stakeholders and maintain stakeholder relationships.What we are looking for (selection criteria)To be suitable you must have the following skills, qualities and experience:Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to deliver key priorities in a high-pressure environment.Sound communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to write and execute test scripts, record test evidence, raise test defects, and follow escalation procedures.It is highly desirable that you also have the following experience with:Jira and Xray; execution and writing of test scripts, raising of Jira defects, and management of testing tasks;Computer Assisted Interviewer Workload Management System; running agents and processes to set up test records for specific Monthly Population Survey and Multipurpose Household Survey test scenarios;Integration between Blaise parks and the metadata in Obligation Management System;HCL Notes; to manage testing signoff;Okta and Pega; setting up ABS survey accounts and claiming of Blaise Form Access Codes via the Provider Portal.How to applyTo apply, complete an online application form on the ABS e-recruitment system.
