The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, a position is available within our Health and Injury Management team. Reporting to the Health and Injury Management Lead, you will provide specialist occupational health and wellbeing advice and services. Working as part of a team achieving effective management of risk, continuous improvement, and lead positive cultural change.
The Role
You will implement services to manage risk including:
1. Provide incident management, early intervention and end to end injury management for a portfolio of cases.
2. Engage, coach, and consult with partners including Human Resources, Workers and Managers at all levels to minimise risk
3. Achieve compliance with regulatory and business requirements
4. Deliver pre-employment medical reviews
5. Contribute to the design and implementation of the wellbeing program
6. Manage health surveillance and first aid management programs
7. Implement strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Your skills and experience
8. Suitably qualified health professional (eg Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Registered Nurse, Osteopath)
9. Post-graduate qualification in occupational health management or equivalent
10. Occupational Health first aid certificates
11. 3 - 5 years experience working within an organisation delivering health and injury management(eg onsite occupational health/injury management)
12. Knowledge of safety and workers compensation legislation and regulations
