Contracts Administrator Design & Build is searching for a Contracts Administrator to join our clients well established team. Our client is a trusted partner of Design & Build, having worked together for several years now. They have a proven history of successfully delivery large scale Commercial and Industrial new build, referb, and fit out projects. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a permanent position with a company that will truly invest in you and your career.
To be successful in this role you will have over 3 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator on large scale Commercial and Industrial projects. You will have been exposed to projects over $15mill. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.
Your Experience and Qualifications
1. Relevant Contracts Administration experience on new build or fit out projects
2. Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
3. Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
4. Understanding of construction practices and processes
5. Intimate knowledge of Qld Construction legislation
6. Knowledge of environmental management responsibilities
7. Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
8. Previous use of Cheops, Procore and Microsoft Office
Your Duties and Responsibilities
9. Contractual dispute resolution
10. Prepare subcontractor documents
11. Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
12. Procurement; sourcing, negotiation and tracking
13. Financial monitoring and planning
14. Preparing and presenting progress claims
15. Stakeholder engagement and management
16. Adhere and value safety principles and practices
