Your new role:
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a full-time Senior Accountant in our Private Business and Family Advisory team, based in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing general accounting and tax compliance services to client groups across diverse industries.
* Preparing management reports for clients.
* Assisting the client manager or partner with complex taxation advice.
* Mentoring and training junior team members.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in public practice (business services/taxation).
* A Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent) and either commenced or intending to commence the CA program.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team when required.
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
* Desire to learn and grow your skills, with a high level of curiosity.
