Our client is seeking a Compliance and Administration Manager to assist with compliance and risk functions as well a general administration in an education environment.
Through the implementation and enhancement of robust systems, you will ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, reporting outcomes to key stakeholders.
You will also facilitate staff training, contractor inductions and monitor emergency procedures to ensure vigilance of legislative changes.
This includes updating policies and ensuring records of Occupational Health and Safety and First Aid training.
Additionally, you will oversee travel and accommodation risk procedures, maintain VRQA compliance, and collaborate on data management strategies.
Suitable candidate will have post-secondary qualifications or equivalent relevant experience.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in administration and finance, with a drive for reform, proficiency in implementing risk management and compliance programs.
You will have a demonstrated understanding of child safety, including appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, familiarity with legal obligations such as mandatory reporting, and suitability for child-connected work.
You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced ICT proficiency for systems development and excellent organizational abilities for efficient task prioritization.
You will also have considerable experience in supervising staff and leading teams.
Successful candidates must hold or be willing to acquire, Working with Children Checks, and Level 2 First Aid or above.
