What you need to know...
* Temporary full time - 76 hours per fortnight
* 9 day fortnight

- One located in Townsend
- One located in South Grafton
* Apprenticeship to commence in early 2025
About the role
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. This position is perfect for someone eager to start a fulfilling career in the electrical field, gaining practical experience and essential skills along the way.
Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Learn to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents. Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks. Complete required training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.

A Drivers Licence is not essential but you must have reliable transport as you will be required to travel to attend Tafe.

There are two apprenticeship positions available, one located at Council's Townsend Depot and the other located at Councils Rushforth Road Works Depot in South Grafton, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
