Beagle Hotel is owned by the Jawoyn Association which is a Not-for-profit striving to improve the cultural, social, and economic well-being of the Jawoyn people, while always caring for country. Your new role: Based in Katherine, Northern Territory, we are seeking an experienced onsite Hotel Manager to join our team and provide their expertise towards the smooth and efficient operation of all departments while maintaining excellent customer service within the guidelines of company policies.This position is primarily responsible for supervising ongoing strategic and operational requirements. Someone with the ability to incite change, development and foster an environment for staff that supports a healthy work life. Previous experience is necessary in this role to review and assess our current systems in order to implement improvements and upgrades.Some key tasks include: This is a hands-on role. Be prepared to assist the Team on the ground to deliver services to Guests.Data management of records and documentation.Supervise and assist front of house operations whilst ensuring that all daily tasks and forecast reports are completed correctly as required. Support the performance of employees, working within the guidelines of company policy and procedure.Ensure daily functions are performed in an efficient and timely manner.Provide assistance to staff to ensure customer satisfaction.Assess and improve systems, procedures and operational functions. Ongoing development of staff and systems in order to foster the best outcome for guest satisfaction. What you will need to succeed: This Manager role is paramount to the efficient and effective running of Hotel operations. This role will suit someone with a proven track record in supervisory role within accommodation, and ideally a certificate level or above in hospitality or tourism. You will require an accurate attention to detail paired with excellent time management. A strong customer service standard proving high level communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven experience with prioritising tasks will be paramount in this position. You will need to work collaboratively with our Group Corporate Services teams while reporting to the CEO to support our employees, guests and plans for the future of Beagle Hotel.
