We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is a perfect role for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for statistical analysis and financial reporting.
RoleReporting to the Commercial Business Manager to provide finance & administrative support to the Commercial Business Manager and Managing Director to drive the performance of the business, involving:
Monthly accounting requirements, including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end accruals, and management reporting.Payroll and statutory reporting.Analytical support to resolve queries.Assist in budget forecasting and costing analysis.Ad hoc project work and process management assessments.Ensuring a safe, efficient, and profitable operation that meets budgeted targets.Experience & Knowledge Profile Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines.Experience and proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.Power BI experience is an advantage but not essential.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.A completed degree in accounting or in the process of obtaining a degree is preferred but not essential.We are looking for a high-performing, ambitious, and self-driven candidate who can grow with the business and transition into a higher role to take South West Freight to the next level.
