Position: Clinical Nurse
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Townsville Community Care and Acquired Brain Injury Unit, Mental Health Service Group, Townsville

* Salary range: $107,960 to $115,604 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
* Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
* Highly Desirable:
o Tertiary Qualification relevant to the position or working towards a relevant Qualification.
o Relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing.
o Credentialed status with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN). If not Credentialed with ACMHN a willingness to undertake and complete the requirements for certification as Credentialed Mental Health Nurse.
o Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 or the willingness to undertake and complete the requirements for appointment.
* Driver Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
* Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
* All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
