We manage 62 commercial properties across 15 active trusts, including Caneland Central (Mackay's number one shopping centre) and Casuarina Square (NT's number one shopping centre), led by our CEO and Founder, Warren Ebert, also known as the 'Property Whisperer'.At Sentinel Property Group, we cultivate a dynamic and rewarding work environment that continually evolves to create opportunities for professional growth, financial advancement, and career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake regular inspections of the building and plant to determine the extent and priority of repair worksDrive a safety culture and ensure all hard services are compliant with relevant WHS/OHS statutory requirements.Assist with tenancy delivery, including installation of new mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and HVAC servicesManage small to mid-sized capital projects relating to Hard Services.Manage specialist contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and relevant NT and National building standards/legislationCoordinate and participate in emergency, crisis and risk management processesManage operational and non-recoverable expenditure budgets and assist with capital forecastingEnsure timely creation of purchase orders and the processing of invoices.Provide proactive leadership in delivering solutions for tenant issues relating to centre operationsEstablish and maintain professional relationships with tenants, shoppers, contractors and company representativesParticipate in the Duty Manager shift roster during peak periods or when requiredExperience & Key CapabilitiesTertiary or trades qualified with at least 5 years relevant operational experience (preferred)Demonstrated understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, OHS/WHS and Legislation.Commercial acumen and financial management experienceStrong communication skills at all levels with various stakeholdersProblem-solving, interpretation and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyCustomer-focused and proactive approach with initiativeIntermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft Office applicationsHow to Apply:Sentinel Property Group offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike!
