An exciting new role has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer and Accounts all rounder to join our team based in Rosebery.
Reporting into the People & Culture Manager with a dotted line into our Head of Finance your role will primarily encompass Payroll, Accounts receivables/payables and general Admin duties and will suit someone who has a strong attention to detail and experience, together with a can-do attitude.
This role is working approximately 3 days per week, onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process weekly & fortnightly end-to-end payroll for all employees using Heropay (approx. 300 staff)
2. Interpret and apply employment related agreements and awards, policies, and procedures, to payroll related matters including salary, leave entitlements and conditions
3. Ensure all invoices & payments are processed in a timely & accurate manner
4. Process super monthly through clearing house
5. Manage year end closing
6. Manage workers compensation
7. Ad hoc project and administration tasks
Requirements
8. Solid Payroll experience with knowledge of award interpretation
9. Experienced using Heropay
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader team
12. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills
