Technical Project Manager, Amazon Corporate Security Job ID: Amazon Corporate Services Pty LtdAmazon Corporate Security (ACS) manages all aspects of physical security at Amazon Corporate locations and is a leader in security management, policy, and best practices. ACS is looking for a new team member who embodies the Amazon Leadership Principles of Customer Obsession and Deliver Results, to join our team as a Technical Project Manager.You will join a team of security professionals who are responsible for managing Amazon's Corporate Security programs worldwide. The high-visibility position will report to the Global Head of Security Technology. This security professional will be responsible for delivering ACS's promise of a safe and secure work environment for all Amazonians by ensuring our new sites are launched in accordance with our standards, and existing sites are continually measured against our high security bar. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure their spaces are secured in a way that is commensurate with policy, and also work to maintain our live as-built system of floor plans and devices.You will be responsible for developing tactical relationships with internal stakeholders such as Global Real Estate and Corporate Security, as well as external stakeholders including software developers to execute a unique aspect of the Security Technology program. You will be expected to leverage these relationships to execute responses to issues both routine and unique, and develop processes to continuously raise the security bar. Key job responsibilities Work with stakeholders to understand their security requirements, and document those requirements for the teams responsible for designing and constructing their workspaces.Maintain the database used to document stakeholder security requirements, and provide feedback to the software development team on updates or enhancements to the database tool.Work with internal and external design teams to capture live "as-built" information on the location and programming values associated with endpoint security devices, and ensure that information is being systematically entered into a live as-built tool.Work with external vendors to gather information on legacy sites and input that data into the live as-built tool.Work with the software development team on the ongoing enhancement and debugging of the as-built tool.Provide insights to other ACS teams that will help inform design standards, construction means and methods, and software development that may be used to automate routine tasks.Assist in the training of teams throughout Amazon on internal tooling and software platforms used to capture and present security-related data. A day in the life A typical day for this fast-paced role will involve working with key stakeholders to understand and document their security requirements. You will also work with existing design teams to gather data on newly launched sites and record that data in a live as-built repository. You will spend time training teams on the various tooling and methodologies used to collect and present this information. You will serve as a key escalation point for tactical project management teams and will be responsible for communicating to those customers clearly and transparently. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
