Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and servicing of PC7000 Excavator, 930E-5 Electric Drive Dump Trucks, and D475A-8 dozers. You will support and complete all machine-oriented tasks to enhance and maintain the Komatsu fleet. Supervise and lead a team of skilled technicians in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy equipment, including Komatsu diggers, dozers and trucks at the Curragh Mine Site. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical proficiency in electrical or mechanical systems, with experience diagnosing and rectifying faults in heavy machinery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external contractors. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards, with a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation. Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs. Previous experience with Komatsu equipment will be advantageous but not essential. Coordinate and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules and breakdown repairs. Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical or mechanical issues in heavy machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with site management to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency.
