We are offering a Fixed Term Contract (12 Months), for this part-time, Term time only position, 32.5 hours per week. Preferred hours of work – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.The Science Laboratory Technician works collaboratively in a team committed to the Mission of Nambour Christian College. The successful applicant should be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team, along with a demonstrated commitment and knowledge of safe work practices in this unique area.About the Role: The TA Science Laboratory Technician assists teachers in delivering effective Science education. Duties include setting up and maintaining science equipment, helping with lab activities, and ensuring a safe and organized learning environment. They ensure safe work practices in the Science Laboratory by following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, and oversee the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological residues in compliance with regulations.
