Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.

About the role
We are currently looking for a SeniorHealth Safety & Training Advisorto join our Warrawoona Gold Project.
This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster.
Reporting to the HST Superintendent, the Senior HST Advisor is responsible for proactively driving a safety-first culture at the Warrawoona Gold Project (WGP).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Facilitating risk and hazard management workshops.
* Assisting in driving the HST Management system requirements across WGP.
* Facilitating and / or participating in incident investigations.
* Facilitating and / or participating in the capturing of all leading and lagging indicators into INX.
* Management of events and associated actions within INX.
* Conducting field-based inspections
* Providing information, instruction, training and coaching in HST matters to Calidus and contracting partners personnel.
* Facilitating and / or participating in HST consultation and communication forums.
* Designing, developing, preparing and facilitating HST training programs.
* Facilitating and / or participating in internal or external HST audits.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will require:
* Minimum 5 years previous mining experience in a similar role;
* Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety or relevant tertiary qualification;
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116); – (desirable)
* Experience in incident investigation and reporting.
* Detailed working knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
* Experience in Health, Safety & Training Management Systems
* Experience in Health, Safety & Training management systems such as the INX suite of INcontrol & INtuition;
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and engagement skills;
* High level of computer literacy;
* Senior First Aid Certificate; and
* Current Manual “C” Class WA Drivers Licence or equivalent.
