This is a permanent full-time opportunity available with a 9 day fortnight.
We are seeking an expert in contract management to draft and deliver high level contract documentation and provide technical advice to procurement officers and management teams across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in contract management, law or similar, or significant demonstrated experience in contract management across the contract life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and deliver high level contract documentation;
* Provide technical advice to procurement officers and management teams;
* Evaluate tenders and make recommendations for contracts;
* Manage contractual and purchasing activities to ensure effective and efficient service delivery;
About You:
We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of Local Government framework, particularly the Local Government Act and Regulations as it relates to procurement.
You will be responsible for whole of council tendering, contractual and purchasing activities to ensure effective and efficient service delivery that meets the requirements of Council.
