The Role: Cognizant is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant who has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Technical Consultants define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: Manage all important project processes such as platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation, and hands-on advanced development.Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.Fulfill projects' technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality, contributing with assignments, follow-up, and guidance to Junior/Mid developers.Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices.Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication.Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios' capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirements.Fill technical or process roles in our projects if needed.Lead, educate, mentor, and develop the team members in the projects.Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools, and techniques to deliver efficiently.Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project.Certifications Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSMYou'll receive an excellent salary and benefits package for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
