About Us
Welcome to the Proactive Services Team at Woolworths, where we ensure trolleys are available and stores are in pristine condition for customers and colleagues alike.
You'll work side-by-side with your team to bring a little good to everyone, every day.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collect trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle, fully trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment.
2. Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs.
3. Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
4. Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
5. Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
6. Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
7. Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
8. You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.
Requirements
1. An ambitious mindset and a love of retail with a passion to grow your career in the cleaning and trolley collection space.
2. A full (unrestricted) Australian driver's licence, Provisional P2 driver's licence, or full International Licence.
3. Physical fitness is essential for this role as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.
4. Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
5. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
