The Role:
BKI is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Vocational English Teacher to join us at the Hume Global Learning Centre in Sunbury! The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessments in a range of settings including classroom and online environments.
You will be contributing to design, facilitation and evaluation of high-quality Teaching and Learning programs as well as design and development of assessment tools. You will get a chance to work in a team-oriented environment that is focused to deliver quality outcomes to students. As this is a sessional role, it is fully flexible to work around your current lifestyle. We are excited about you because you have:
1. MUST have: A three-year Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent and a Postgraduate or higher Teacher of English as a Second Language (TESOL) qualification in adult education or equivalent OR
2. A recognised university undergraduate degree or higher in education or equivalent with a TESOL major
3. Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A)
4. Current industry experience
