will support, develop, and lead a team of in-field officers that conduct activities in accordance with established processes, procedures, and a variety of regulations.can quickly learn and use a variety of IT systems that support in-field inspections, compliance activities, reporting, and other business functions.work efficiently, effectively, and independently manage their time to meet shared goals.contribute to a positive workplace culture by maintaining friendly, supportive, respectful, and constructive communication.Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has high levels of emotional intelligence, resilience, and will promote both team and community safety goals. Someone who displays leadership qualities and has the skills and confidence to manage difficult conversations while maintaining a customer service approach.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Australian citizenship or permanent residency and a checkable background is mandatory. The successful applicant will need to obtain and maintain eligibility as an authorised person under the Road Transport (General) Act 1999. If this clearance is not successful, your employment in the role will not commence or, if already commenced, will be reassessed. A current driver's licence and an excellent driving record are also required. You may be required to undergo a health assessment prior to employment. See position description for further details.
Notes: This is a permanent position available for immediate start. A Merit Pool of suitable applicants will be established from the selection process. Applicants may be drawn from this pool to fill similar vacancies over the next 12 months.
This position includes office and in-field activities, attending assigned areas on foot and/or by motor vehicle, and the direct supervision of staff.
