Key Responsibilities: Reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Ensuring documentation meets coding standards required to ensure correct revenue generation. Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies. Educating staff on best practices for clinical documentation and coding. Analysing trends and providing insights to improve documentation processes and outcomes. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery. Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA Nursing Registration. Minimum 3 years recent acute medical surgical experience. Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
