We currently have a great opportunity available within our Human Resources team for a Retail HR Manager. The Retail Human Resources Manager works in partnership with the ANZ HR team to support the Affiliate’s employee relations activities including specialist coaching, support and influence that enable client groups to effectively deliver their people plans.
The Retail Human Resources Manager leads the formulation and implementation of the Retail HR strategy and programs that support both short and long-term business priorities.
The Position
·Partner directly with the Commercial team to support all employee related matters
·Manage the Retail HR team to ensure that they are achieving their goals and maximizing their potential
·Collaborate with Senior HR Manager and Retail HR Executives to identify and build out talent plans across our Point of Sales teams.
·Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies during the hiring process.
·Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution
·Assume ownership for National Enterprise Agreement; ensuring time and attendance practices are compliant with labour laws, regulations, and company policies. Proactively keeping up to date with changes in labour laws, regulations and company policies.
The Person:
·You have a background in Human Resources
·Bachelor degree in area of specialty (or equivalent experience)
·You will be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders, gathering requirements and presenting information on best practices.
·Ideally 5+ years working experience within the retail industry
·Strong problem solving skills
·Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and offer innovative and pragmatic solutions
