As a Chef your responsibilities will include: Help create innovative, modern cuisine for our amazing patients and staffIn conjunction with the Head Chef, train kitchen staff on all menusMeal and food preparation for patients as per national menu guideAssist the Head Chef to manage food costs, stock control and management of staffLead kitchen in the absence of Executive Chef/Sous Chef.Must be available to work rotational roster inclusive of weekend workMaintain hygiene, OH&S, & overall kitchen cleanliness at all times, ensuring regular daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers as per food safety standardsStrong understanding of HACCP Food Safety ProgramMaintain effective communication with management and facility staffLead, supervise, coach and develop team members, including cooks, kitchenhands and service staff, to deliver exceptional service Pay Rates: Mon-Fri $33.80 per hour, Saturday inclusive of penalty $50.70 per hour, Sunday inclusive of penalty $59.15 per hour.
