Craft Supervisor - Mechanical
Lead a team and supervise craft professionals on the Pluto Train 2 Project.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leadership / Supervision:
o Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
o Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
* Planning / Productivity:
o Determines workforce requirements.
o Coordinates established area operational plans.
* Tools, Materials & Equipment:
o Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
o Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
* Safety & Quality:
o Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
o Ensures assigned construction operations performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
* Technical:
o Works with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
o Oversees engineering solutions with Leading Hands and Craft Professionals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* 10+ years relevant field experience.
* Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Sound knowledge and experience in the installation and alignment of both rotating and static equipment.
* Knowledge of EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor's (if applicable) responsibilities. Knowledge of construction technologies. Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities. Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Demonstrable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program.
