Base Salary (full time equivalent): Level A $78,905 – $107,080 or Level B $112,717 – $133,853 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading

The position
As an Associate Lecturer or Lecturer, you will be responsible for the delivery of teaching, assessment and support of discipline specific (as per professional background) students. You will also oversee and/or support own discipline and health student placements in Inverell and surrounding areas. You will liaise with placement supervisors and students in the region, coordinate timetabling for discipline-specific students, provide sessional face-to-face teaching and collaborate with other academic and professional staff to develop and implement interprofessional education (IPE) and professional experiences in rural communities (PERC).
About you
You will be an experienced allied health professional with an interest in student teaching and learning. You will also be passionate about redressing rural health inequity.
To be successful in this role you will:
* Hold a recognised Degree or qualification in one of the following allied health fields: social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dental hygienist, dental therapist or oral health therapist (level A).
* Hold a PhD in allied health or related discipline (level B).
* Be eligible for professional registration or accreditation.
* Have a minimum of two years relevant post-graduate practitioner experience.
* Demonstrate experience in teaching and student supervision.
* Hold a current Driver’s license.
* Have knowledge of and experience in rural, remote and Indigenous health issues will be highly desirable.
A current Working with Children Check and Criminal Records Check will be required for this position.
