The Speech Pathologist plays a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders.This role contributes to a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based interventions that enhance consumer’s communication skills, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and safe swallowing function, ultimately supporting recovery and improving quality of life.You will be well supported by our dynamic and well established speech pathology team at Orange Health Service. Our team consists of both paediatric and adult speech pathologists working across the community, general hospital and mental health settings.
