This role is residential, based in Mount Isa working a 4 Day/3 Off, 5 Day/2 Off lifestyle roster, reporting directly to the Senior – Reliability Engineer.The principal deliverable of this role is to coordinate and plan for the execution of maintenance activities across the Lead Smelter utilising phased shutdown processes. You will work closely with Reliability, Project Engineers, Metallurgical, Operational and Maintenance departments to deliver long term schedules and strategies for fixed plant assets & secondary operational short-term plans for operational fixed tasks to ensure a cross integration plan between Operations and Maintenance is produced.You will be responsible for:Assisting in the procurement of resources, including parts, labour, and mobile equipment, ensuring the availability for all scheduled work through work management and shutdown processes.Reporting on shutdown planning, execution progress and cost.Facilitating the shutdown steering committee and scheduling review meetings through efficient scheduling.Developing pre-emptive strategies to ensure minimal downtime of critical assets, unplanned outages and maximise plant availability for safe metal production.Development of executable shutdown plans which provides for the safe interaction of tasks and critical path/timelines.Produce short term operation fixed task plans for improved operational/Maintenance integration.You will have the following skillset and attributes:Experience in mechanical maintenance planning and scheduling within the mining industry.Efficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CMMS systems (Ellipse is preferred).Trade or technical background is highly desirable.Strong level of communication with a sound understanding and commitment towards continuous improvement, condition monitoring and asset management practices.Display advanced time-management skills and initiative, as well as the ability to demonstrate the Glencore Values whilst working in a team and independently.For further information please contact: Leanne Kretschmann on 0439 875 396.Applications Close: 8am Wednesday 9th April 2025.
