Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Night Auditor to join our Front Office team in Sofitel Brisbane Central.
As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.
Balance daily transactions and prepare overnight reports with precision and accuracyVerify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring all charges are correctly postedProvide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shiftAssist guests with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionallyMaintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employeesFollow and complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all required tasks are accomplishedCollaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies or concernsGenerate and distribute various financial and operational reportsSupport the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (essential)Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud, and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skillsBasic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to security proceduresCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional serviceAdaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work overnight shifts on a rotating scheduleAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational skills and time management abilities.Additional InformationBring passion and dedication to excellence, and we will recognise your contribution with a variety of benefits, rewards and development opportunities.
