Overview
We are searching for a Management Consultant with a background and experience in ERP software, ideally SAP, Oracle, and/or Microsoft solutions. If you’re getting big 5 burn out and want the challenge without the grind, this could be your next opportunity.
Client provides vendor-agnostic ERP Advisory, offering, independent advice to our clients on their business and ERP transformation, without the influence from software vendors and system integrators. We don’t resell software or implement ERP projects. We help govern and de-risk them for our clients.
Responsibilities
1. Staying updated on the latest developments, trends and, thinking within the business transformation and software industry.
2. Getting engaged on a diverse range of projects, across many industries and competencies.
3. Helping to deliver real value to our clients, being their trusted advisor, supporting them to filter out the noise that vendors put out into the market.
4. Having a sharp eye for identifying industry and client-level problems and coming up with ways to help solve them.
5. Working collaboratively with a range of experts, with varied experiences and talents – and personalities
6. Researching and sharing all the good stuff you have learnt with the broader team, including thoughts on how we should leverage this information to grow the business.
7. Helping to shape and build a practice, including identifying and creating new offerings, developing collateral, hiring new teammates, etc.
We would like you to be…
8. A professional who has spent at least 3 years working as a management consultant, ideally with one of the tier 1 consulting companies.
9. Passionate about understanding customers and businesses, bringing a balance of analytical and business skills.
10. Conversant in and a good understanding of the software and technology industry, with a natural affinity to learn more.
11. A high-level thinker that can see connections and derive insights from a range of sources.
12. A problem solver, who has opinions and ideas on how to challenge the status quo for the greater good.
13. Able to work in a fluid environment, but also able to bring improved structure to the business.
14. Comfortable and confident in working with and communicating to senior level people, both internally and externally
15. Someone who has the experience and learnings from at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, from the design phase through to go-live and support.
16. Capable of documenting a business process and knowing how to reengineer the process to make it more efficient – either via technology and/or evolving the way people work.
17. Able to analyse information and make recommendations on how to improve business practices and systems.
