The Modelling team brings our purpose to life by building and reviewing elegant, bespoke representations of real-world financial situations.
We bring together a diverse group of experts with deep experience in delivering and reviewing (audit) financial and data models.
Partnering with clients and their advisors, we provide comprehensive insights into the performance of financial assets or portfolios of businesses, projects, or other investments to ensure informed decision-making.
Additionally, the team supports PE and Infra funds by developing corporate and fund models and associated low-code finance tools to automate information collection, extract value from data, and create insights and dashboards.
Our services include Model Builds (including development of data-driven forecasting and reporting tools), Modelling Services, Model Audits, Model Assurance, Data Analytics, and Professional Model Build Training.You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills to:Take a lead in the design and delivery of tailored financial models and analytical solutions for critical business decisions, including M&A transactions, capital raises, and CFO support.Develop innovative finance solutions, leveraging lo-code no-code and related ETL technologies that deliver insights to support decision making for our clients.Maximise your analytical and modelling capabilities with access to amazing team mentors who create centres of modelling excellence within organisationsLiaise and nurturing relationships with clients, your team and the wider businessActively manage project engagements, including risks, costs and schedules.Provide model audit, assurance services, data analytics, and professional training to enhance risk management and support strategic decision-making.Coach junior team members and managing projects within a supporting team environment.Liaise and nurture relationships with clients, team members, and the wider business.Continuously learn and develop in a dynamic environment, bringing your unique perspectives to innovate our work.In our Modelling team, your impact will be seen by your:Background in financial modelling, financial analysis, corporate planning, technology solution development or similarExperienced in financial modelling and adept at data analysisTertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, STEM subjects or a related disciplineAn understanding and interest in commercial issues facing businessesPassion for solving problemsExperience with or a keen interest in developing skills in any of the below would be an advantage:Power Query / Power Pivot, R, Python, Alteryx, FabricPower BI and TableauAre in pursuit of CFA or CA qualifications, or Masters in relevant field of studyAbout PwCAt PwC, we are a human-led, tech-powered community of solvers.
