The Position: Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production and menu-based catering in this premium airline lounge located at Melbourne Airport.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards.Deliver to our clients and customers high expectations of a premium experience.Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure best price and quality of produce.Monitor stock and minimise food wastage.Lead, train, and mentor team members.The Person: Solid leadership experience in a Head Chef role or similar.Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety.Passionate about healthy and nutritious food, finesse in plating, knowing that presentation matters.Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce.Strong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost control.A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Successful candidates must be able to pass an ASIC security clearance background check.
