Shape the future of Australia's newest emergency services agency by joining Northern Territory Fire and Emergency Services at a pivotal time in an executive leadership role.
The Chief Fire Officer will lead strategic initiatives for system-wide management and service planning within the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Services (NTFRS).
This role also drives cultural transformation, fostering strong engagement across the organisation.
NT Fire and Emergency Services (NTFES) is made up of the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service, the Northern Territory Emergency Service, and Bushfires NT.
Together, NTFES protects the Territorian community during emergencies including fire, motor vehicle crashes, severe weather, and natural disasters through prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery.

Members of the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) are our organisation's most important asset.
The NTFRS plays a major part in ensuring the safety of all Territorians by attending a wide range of incidents such as road accidents, chemical spills, industrial accidents, structure fires, grass and bush fires, as well as investigating the cause of fire and building and plan inspections and educating the public about the importance of fire prevention and fire safety.
