The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for a range of key tasks to ensure the successful outcome of high-profile projects. You will be required to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally whilst overseeing the efficient and timely delivery of financial accounts. Duties will include; Month end accounting and reporting - reconciliations, analysis, and commentary Support in preparation of annual and half-year reporting. Prepare full statutory reports on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly and quarterly BAS returns. Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting on weekly basis. P&L variance analysis, providing detailed commentary. Assist in preparation of annual budget Manage relationship with senior internal/external stakeholders to support business decision making. Support Finance Manager with key projects and process improvement initiatives.
