The Role and Environment: Our client a leader in the Healthcare supply chain industry seeks the services of Licensed Forklift Operators to work at pharmaceutical warehouses in Western Sydney. These warehouses are fast paced environments and you will need to have a keen eye for detail and work in an accurate manner. These roles provide an ongoing opportunity for proven performers with a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for the safe storage and distribution of pharmaceutical items and may be working in a temperature controlled environment. Operators will use both high reach and counter balance forklifts along with ride on pallet jacks. For those licenced and experienced to do so, you may be operating order pickers or turret trucks. You will need to be experienced with pick/pack tasks using an rf scanner and/or voice headset and capable of manual handling duties. Key Responsibilities: Operation of Crown joystick forklift - both high reach and counter balance Operation of turret trucks and/or order pickers Unloading stock from containers Picking and packing orders Manual Handling Palletising stock and moving with manual and electric pallet jacks Reading and understanding instructions Taking on heavy lifting and other manual tasks as required Required Experience: Have a current LF and/or LO License with relevant experience (this will need to be backed up by reputable references) Have intermediate reading and communication skills Good operational understanding of duties in the warehouse environment Proven reliability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role (this will also need to be backed up by a reputable reference) Willingness to undertake manual handling and other duties on ground level when needed - these roles will not be entirely operating machinery Be safety obsessed Benefits: Working with a highly reputable brand within 3PL pharmaceutical warehousing 8 hour shifts available from Monday-Friday Ongoing assignments for proven performers About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
