Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Manage month-end reporting close, delivering true and accurate financial results – including preparation of month-end journals, variance analysis, and investigative enquiries to understand underlying cost drivers.
* Prepare monthly executive reporting submissions – including variance commentary, rolling forecast, risks, and opportunities.
* Support the delivery of forecast and annual operating plan as part of the 3-year annual planning process – including leading the collation, analysis, and providing information to support throughout preparation process.
* Provide ad-hoc information, analysis, and value-added insights to support decision-making – either as requested or of your own cognizance from having identified an opportunity.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships and create successful partnerships with stakeholders, developing a good understanding of your function and the key financial drivers to improve the quality of value-added insights.
* Continuously identify areas for improvement – such as processes or ways presenting information – and assist with the design and implementation of improved changes.
