RDH tenders projects in the range of $2m and $45m with expansion into 2025 forecast to see this number grow.ABOUT THE ROLE RDH are recruiting for a Geraldton local HSEQT Advisor to support our busy Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Training team. Facilitating local site visits, supporting regional based projects from Geraldton Head Office and providing knowledgeable insight to all things HSEQT. Playing a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing of our employees and protection of our environment, strongly supported by our HSEQT Manager, HSEQT Advisors, HSEQT Administrator and Trainer & Assessor.Minimum Requirements: 5 years' experience working in Health and Safety, preferably within the Civil Construction Industry.Strong computer and administrative skills.JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements for health and safety.Prepare project HSE documentation including construction risk assessments, construction HSE Management Plans, SWMS and project site inductions presentations and assessments.Develop safe work instructions as required in consultation with subject matter experts.Prepare Safety Alerts, Safety Communications and Toolbox talks as required.Conduct site inspections.Undertake audits to verify compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements, client requirements and company procedures.Identify and correct hazards or potential hazards.Present on HSE related topics at pre-start meetings and Toolbox Meetings as required.Develop and deliver inductions and training packages.Investigate incidents, injuries and near misses and prepare investigation reports.Ensure incident register is maintained in online program.Prepare plant risk assessments in consultation with subject matter experts.Liaise with clients on HSEQT matters as required.Assist with injury management as required.Lead or participate in change management.Health and hygiene management.Conduct drug and alcohol testing.Assist in the reporting of reportable incidents to WorkSafe WA and where necessary to DMIRS.Assist maintain training records.Ensure corrective and preventative actions are identified and monitored for closure within allocated timeframe.EDUCATION, LICENCES AND TRAINING Cert IV Training and Assessment.Cert IV Work Health and Safety (minimum).Lead ICAM Certificate.C Class Drivers Licence.First Aid certificate.Construction Induction Card (White Card).Cert III Civil Construction (highly regarded).Rehabilitation and Return to Work training / competency (desirable).Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing HLTPAT005 (desirable).Satisfactory National Police Clearance.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role.Excellent skills in setting priorities, planning, time management and organising.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.Ability to positively influence improved health and safety outcomes.Intermediate skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.Satisfactory Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol.WHY WORK FOR RED DUST HOLDINGS Positive rewarding work and safety culture.Weekly Payroll.Direct line to management.A fast-paced but inclusive, involved, and supportive work environment.Well maintained and late model equipment.Genuine recognition within the company as a member of the team and not a number.Access to our EAP - Employee Assistance Program.Red Dust Holdings are an equal opportunity employer.
