Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.What this opportunity involves:The Retail Manager manages the day-to-day client activities for the assigned properties and is the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and clients.The role will include active development and execution of the Centre's Business Plan objectives, which are underpinned by Retail Lease compliance, including all lease associated payments, debt management, retail store liaison, client reporting, and stakeholder management, while providing superior service to all stakeholders.An overview of the role:Ensure your staff and contractors are working in proper efficient working environments, including adherence to Occupational Health and Safety requirements, proper IT systems, and efficient equipment.Ensure proper delivery to centre level and adherence to all JLL standard procedures.Prepare and administer all relevant documentation as required, in accordance with the client's requirements.Ensure that all rentals, outgoings, turnover rental, promotion levies, tenant electricity, and any other tenant recoverables are charged and collected by the due date as specified in the lease.Maintain a constant understanding of any arrears and act aggressively to reduce these.Assist in the preparation and implementation of the centre's Business Plan, Income and Expenditure Budget, and any client additional reporting required in accordance with the timeline established by the Account Director.Be fully conversant with all relevant legislation relevant to the property and liaise with the owner's solicitors regarding standard documentation.Maintain the highest standards of repair and cleanliness to the centre and ensure that the client is fully aware of their risk profile if they do not agree to meet this requirement.Ensure that you have a proper understanding of the legal responsibilities of your position and that your centres are all meeting their proper obligations in this regard.Ensure all client reports are produced on time, maintaining high quality and accuracy.Provide timely reporting internally and respond quickly to internal requests for information. Attend meetings/forums nominated by your manager.Ensure regular contact with local councils and be aware of any development applications and proposals that may affect the centre, advising both the Portfolio Team and Client of any such activity.Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with the local business community, community groups, council marketing, and authorities.Sound like you?
