To be Successful:
* Certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Disability
* Fully Vaccinated (3 x Covid shots, Flu Vaccination, Proof of immunity towards Whooping cough, measles, HepB and chicken pox)
* Full Working rights
* Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check
* 6 months plus paid experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of needs.
* Current Working with Children Check, CPR and First Aide (level 2)
* Current Australian Driver’s License

Who are we looking for:
If you have explored the thought of working in the community work then we are looking for you. We have a high demand for enthusiastic and compassionate support workers and personal care workers to join our. You will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to individuals with a range of needs, including but not limited to, disabilities, mental health conditions, and elderly care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
* Assist individuals with their medication and attend medical appointments with them as required.
* Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, including family members, social workers, and healthcare professionals.
* Attend regular team meetings and participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Other Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* NDIS Screening Check – not essential but highly desirable
* Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
