About the Role
Corporate Solutions is the direct insurance arm of Swiss Re. This position handles a portfolio of general liability claims and represents Swiss Re Corporate Solutions claims in the industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing claims from receipt to final resolution;
2. Instructing loss adjusters, experts and coverage/defence counsel;
3. Maintaining strong customer focus by proactively researching issues, providing support and assuring customer satisfaction in a timely fashion;
4. Responding to underwriting queries on claims and advise of any policy wording issues;
5. Investigating, evaluating and settling claims, applying technical knowledge and people skills to effect fair and prompt claim resolution;
6. Completing detailed reviews of claim-related issues, including coverage, liability and quantum and document the claim file appropriately;
7. Raising and maintain appropriate and timely indemnity and expense reserves;
8. Formulating and executing negotiation and resolution strategies;
9. Managing international business claims in accordance with our standard operating procedures and requirements and feedback any changes in procedure to the team;
10. Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures and Claims Handling Guidelines; and
11. Complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
About You
12. Proven experience in insurance or financial services.
13. Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with internal key stakeholders, insureds, brokers, service providers and business partners;
14. Solid coverage, liability, investigation, evaluation, negotiation and claims resolution skills;
15. International programs experience preferred;
16. Deliver high quality, efficient and effective customer experience in every aspect;
17. Superior interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills;
18. Hardworking mindset, applying consultative skills to develop insights, propose solutions and build growth opportunities for clients and Corporate Solutions;
19. Demonstrate flexibility to adopt new ways of working principles and behaviours in their everyday life and coach other team members to do the same;
20. Expert in data analytics, developing methodologies and outputs to provide key insights to drive business decisions;
21. Have developed deep relevant digital expertise and advocate the use of these in a range of situations;
22. University Degree or equivalent preferred.

The team handles Commercial Property, Engineering, Energy, General Liability and FinPro claims both domestically and internationally with a strong emphasis on quality and customer service.
