The Opportunity
We have been awarded an AUD$1.6B contract by the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of high capacity signalling technology for Perth's suburban rail network.
About the Role
We seek a highly skilled and experienced CAD Designer to lead our design teams across multiple design packages for HCS enabling infrastructure works. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in Railway Signalling, Communications, and Electrical CAD design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and guidance to design teams.
* Produce high-quality CAD designs for various infrastructure projects.
* Ensure compliance with Public Transport Authority (PTA) drafting standards.
* Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and other stakeholders.
About You
You will possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Certificate or Diploma of Drafting or Engineering, or higher equivalent qualification.
* 10+ years of experience in Railway Signalling, Communications, and Electrical CAD design.
* Proven experience in Rail Projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Demonstrated track record of CAD design proficiency and delivery.
* Team player and team oriented.
