WHO WE ARE
Our crafted legacy stems from 1977, when a group of residents from the Saanich Peninsula started Peninsula Co-op. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Liquor Co. 1977 is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Tillicum Liquor Store, located at Tillicum Mall (3170 Tillicum Rd Victoria, BC V9A 7C5). This is a permanent, full-time role offering 32 to 40 hours per week. Our ideal candidate has full availability from Monday through Sunday, with evenings and weekends as a requirement.
Applicants must be 19+
We are a people first business, with a strong focus on our customer and member needs. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our dedicated team. We want someone who:
1. Enjoys creating positive customer experiences and goes above and beyond in service delivery
2. Has at least 1 year of experience in the liquor industry and 2+ years working in customer-facing roles
3. Has strong cash handling skills and the ability to process transactions efficiently
4. Is knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages and is comfortable recommending products
5. Values safety, integrity, and teamwork, and is a role model for both colleagues and customers
6. Is physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling products up to 50 lb.
7. Is able to successfully pass a criminal record check
8. Has a current Serving It Right certificate (required in advance of starting)
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you’ll be stocking the store, processing till transactions, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
