Research Development ManagerApply locations Camperdown Campus time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id 0129290Research Development Manager required at the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary FibrosisPart-time to Full time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE negotiable) fixed term opportunity for 12 months at Camperdown CampusBase Salary $121,508 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityAn exciting opportunity exists to join the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis (CRE-PF) team as a Research Development Manager to develop and support research endeavours. You will be closely working with the CRE-PF lead Professor Tamera Corte and other chief investigators of this nationally collaborative program.This role is responsible for the general management of all operational aspects of the CRE-PF research development work, including planning, developing, submission and reporting of research funding applications to meet the Centre’s research objectives. Drawing on their expertise in research, the Research Development Manager will play an active role in monitoring research funding opportunities, designing and developing funding applications, managing the application process with a large collaborative team, research commercialisation, and liaising with key stakeholders. The Research Development Manager reports on the progress of the research (including to external funding bodies), sources grant funding, and collaborates with academics and research professionals to achieve the goals of the CRE-PF.Your key responsibilities will be to:Provide effective program management for the research development being undertaken by the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis.Provides overall research development management for multiple research funding applications including establishing application organisation structures, application plans, tracking systems, monitoring compliance, embedding project governance and controls, and communication.Support the strategic direction of the research development plan of the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis.Provides sound, strategic advice and support to the development and implementation of the ongoing research strategy.Provide funding oversight for research development opportunities in the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis.Develop and manage the research project application budgets including grants and/or faculty funded arrangements in collaboration with the Chief Investigator and Senior Centre Management.Manage key stakeholder relationships, events and communications.Ensure that governance and ethics requirements for research development activities are addressed and met appropriately.Ensure Work Health and Safety requirements are met.About youThe University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
