We are seeking to establish a pool of Senior Gardener – Handyperson’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Carine Senior High School is an Independent Public School and school of choice in the northern suburbs of Perth. Our school became an Independent Public School in 2015 and has since been leading academic performance from years 7-12 through the recruitment and development of highly effective program coordinators, teachers and support staff. Our vision is to seek excellence in education. We do this through individualised student pathways, which are consistently reviewed and adapted to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.
Sustainability is something we seek to embed into our daily lives, along with our dedicated sustainability week and a broad range of related activities.
Keeping our school grounds well maintained and in excellent condition is an important role in our school community.
Under the guidance of an Administration Support Co-Ordinator Facilities and Assets Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the grounds - keeping lawn areas green and mowed, garden beds tidy and bright, courtyards and paving clean and presentable. Minor repairs around the school would be your domain, within Department guidelines, and for anything outside those policies you’d ensure they’re reported correctly to the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) and properly addressed.
If you have two green thumbs and enjoy making the outdoors both pleasant and functional, we encourage you to apply.
