Support our fleet of AS350, B206/206L, B427/429, B505, BO105, BK117, R22/44 Helicopters in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
About the role: Heliwest has great opportunities for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with helicopter experience throughout Western Australia. Upskilling for types and engines is available to Australian License holders. We will also support license conversions for NZ and EASA License holders (happy to discuss Visas, but please understand that you will be required to convert to an Australian License in the course of your employment). If you are approaching the end of your training and can demonstrate exam completions and journals near complete we would be happy to discuss your transition into our team as a future LAME. We are also looking to expand our component workshop footprint and will consider AME's for such roles.
Recent hiring has added some great new members to our team and we are keen to expand this group to meet emerging demands. We have positions available at our Jandakot (20km south of Perth) and Newman Airport Facilities in the Pilbara. There is a variety of roster types available for negotiation. As part of the role, you may be required to undertake short duration trips to alternate bases in support of our fleet servicing. Such trips attract additional allowances.

CASA recognised qualifications or be able to readily transition to Australian qualifications. Experience on at least one of the following types - AS350, Bell 206, BK117, BO105, Robinson helicopters. Demonstrable commitment to customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy with experience on aircraft computer aided maintenance systems. Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. The ability to work as a team player but be able to work independently as required. Commitment to a safe work environment. Current ASIC and Human Factors qualifications (the company can assist with renewal). Bell 505, 407, 212, 412, H135/H145 experience. Experience using Computer Maintenance and Management Systems– Aerotrack MRO(Aust) and Air Maestro will be an advantage. First Aid.
