About the role:
The TSIL (Therapeutic Supported Independent Living) Youth Worker Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality services, care and support that promote the emotional, social and behavioural needs of vulnerable children and young people within the Intensive Therapeutic Care system living independently.
This position works within a trauma-informed therapeutic framework and is responsible for the supervision, support, and development of the Youth Workers.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in Blacktown, NSW within our PSP Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) / Therapeutic Supported Independent Living (TSIL) Program. The position reports to the TSIL Coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Minimum qualification requirements for this position is a relevant Diploma of Youth Work, Community Services or equivalent;
2. Existing staff have a transition period to gain the minimum qualifications;
3. Staff with experience may be eligible to apply for RPL;
4. Aboriginal staff - a qualification is desirable but experience and willingness to participate in training is essential;

1. Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
2. Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
3. Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
