Within Corrective Services is five Directorates whose key priorities include ensuring the safety of the community, staff, and those in our care, promoting rehabilitation and upholding ethical and transparent practices.ResponsibilitiesThe Directorate Executive Manager is responsible for supporting a Deputy Commissioner by effectively managing the Directorate’s business and workflow functions in accordance with Departmental procedures. This includes:Ensuring appropriate delegated authority is exercised in managing human and financial resources.Preparing and completing ministerial briefings, corporate correspondence and a range of directorate information requests giving regard to timeliness and accuracy of information.Coordination of business processes in order to meet priorities as delegated by the Deputy Commissioner.The Executive Manager plays a key role promoting teamwork and collaboration in a matrix environment and acts as a conduit between key Divisional and Directorate stakeholders.
