This position reports to the Logistics Finance Manager based at the Sydney Olympic Park Office.
This role requires an individual to work 4 days in the office and 1-day WFH.
About the role:
The primary function of the Logistics Commercial Manager is responsible for managing the logistic costing and analysis for all operations in addition with overseeing a team responsible for billing.
Other responsibilities involve regular reporting and forecast management.
Duties and Responsibilities:Logistics Cost Management/Key ReportingLead the preparation and distribution of performance reporting to Finance, Logistics manager, Product manager.Provide timely and accurate monthly cost management and freight reports including insightful variance analysis.Provide ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing saving projects and tracing costs back to underlying activities.Partner with the 3PLs to ensure SOPs are followed while meeting KPIs and costs.Prepare Logistics cost and cost ratio forecast and review with Finance monthly to ensure corporate Finance target achieved.GMP System ManagementMaintain LT/ Cut off/ Holiday master in GERP as per operation and seasoning.Check EDI monitoring daily to ensure EDI errors are looked after and resolved in time.Manage tariff system in GERP to ensure contract pricing structure adequately reflects logistics costing.Provide system support to logistics team to resolve system issues on a daily basis.Maintain database of logistics information.About YOU:
5 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience with Credit Risk Analysis.
